Gabrielle Haller is Charles Xavier's ex-wife. While they were married, they had a son, David, but Gabrielle divorced them afterwards because she didn't want David growing up with a father who didn't have time for him. She also took in a boy named Ian, believing he was a boy David had found on the streets.
